About Us

We are creative event organizers, production company and a training service providers. We have been teaching and training people on digital film making and producing film and television programmes for more than ten years.

Some of our works include: Guilty or Not Guilty (2014), The Final Battle (2012), Inspiration Summit (2005), Oro Ijinle (2003), Celebrate with me (1996).

In recorgnition of our artistic work, we won several awards of excellence, including BIEFF China twice (2011 & 2012) consecutively.

Meet Our CEO

Lawrence Olu Akande - 大奇

Lawrence Olu Akande, also known as 大奇 in China is the CEO of Afritainment Creative Ltd and Founder of Pacesetter Media and Studios, Lagos, Nigeria. He is HND graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, with Distinction in Music Technology, also has a Master's Degree in Film Studies from Beijing Film Academy, China, the best film school in Asia, and one of the best in the world - where he learnt the techniques, principles, and practice of filmmaking, with specialty in Sound Design.

After his graduation from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and a successful youth service at NTA Television College, Jos, he started work with Nigerian Film Corporation, Jos, and was posted to National Film Institute, Jos, before he resigned in 2016 and founded Pacesetter Media and Studios and later incorporated it as Afritainment Creative Limited.

Lawrence Akande has over ten years of experience in running successful film training, facilitating international workshops, and advocating for film training skill acquisition program for the youth. He served as a facilitator at the shoot! 2007, 2009, and 2014 international film training, and capacity building workshop organized by Nigerian Film Corporation, National Film Institute, and National Broadcasting Commission; recently, he was the Master trainer for Media and Entertainment sector on Lagos State Employability Support Project (LSESP) under Global Education Management System - Arcskills, sponsored by Lagos State Government and United nation Development Programme (UNDP).

Apart from been a facilitator, he has worked on some film and commercial projects abroad, such as Final Battle; Guilty or Not Guilty; Hainan Airline commercial; Pekin University Hospital commercial and many others.
